Nutrition Tips
- Eat 3 larger meals and 2-3 snacks per day, every 2-3 hours. This will increase your metabolism.
- If weight loss is your goal, don't eat more calories than you burn.
- Portion control = smaller portions. Portions are about the size of your fist.
- Eat slowly. Allow your food to digest.
- Drink 1 glass of water before every meal.
- Dessert is a habit, not a physiological need for survival. Habits can be broken!
- Desire to eat does not mean you are in need of food.
- Supplements are good. Use meal replacements or protein shakes for snacks. They are simple and take only seconds to prepare.
- Multi-vitamins are necessary.
