becky_tixI turned 39 in April and was very unhappy with the weight that I had gained over the last few years. For the first time ever I had flaps under my arms. I could no longer wear fitted shirts because you could see the rolls on my sides, back and belly. I was the queen of trying different diet pills looking for the easy way to shed the fat and pounds. I had always let the scale determine how I felt about my body.

Finally very frustrated, I decided that I needed to do something about it. My clothes kept getting tighter and tighter and if I gained any more weight I would have to buy larger clothes. I have always been fairly active and enjoyed sports and exercise. As I have gotten older, the exercise became less and less a priority in my life. I was very busy with my family, home and work. I made up my mind on my birthday that I was going to go into 40 feeling good about myself. I wanted to be healthy and feel good in my own skin. But I knew that I needed someone to help me. I needed someone to help hold me accountable and help me stay motivated. I found Renegade and Ryan Branson.

I was nervous going in for my consultation. I was worried about how embarrassed I would be with someone analyzing my body and me!!! Ryan made it very easy. You could tell right away that he genuinely cared. I told him what my expectations and goals were and he came up with a plan on how I could get there. After that meeting I knew that I was in the right place with the right people to help me achieve my goals.

I started going 1-2 times a week. Ryan gave me workouts to do at home and helped with me on a nutritional plan. He developed my home workouts around the equipment that I already had. I had never been on a diet that I had stuck to for more than a couple of days. For the first time I didn’t look at it as a quick diet to lose weight, I looked at it as a life style change.

I started seeing the changes within a couple of weeks. By the end of the first month I had lost 8 lbs. and 4% body fat. That was so motivating to me. I was eating clean and feeling the best that I had felt for a very long time. The workouts were tough, just like I asked for, and I have loved every second of it.

The workouts are always being changed up, and you never know for sure what the next workout is going to be when you walk into his gym. It never becomes boring or monotonous. Ryan is always challenging me in ways that I would have never challenged myself if I would have tried to do this on my own. I still cannot believe how much stronger I am than when I first started. I never thought that I could do some of the things that I can do now.

12 weeks later I am now 20 pounds lighter and have lost 10% body fat! Thanks to Ryan’s help, I look forward to working out and I have totally changed how I look at eating. My body has toned up where it hasn’t been toned since high school. I feel great and I am a much happier person. Signing up with Renegade is the best thing that I have ever done for myself and I recommend it to anyone. I look forward to continuing on this journey.
